my love never fails…

Days, week, months, years pass and so often we find ourselves saying things like, “Oh it seemed like just yesterday” “That was 5 years ago!?” “I can’t believe I’ve known you for over 10 years” – etc.  And with all that we do, all that we say, all the things that we let fill our time here, how often do we really let the people we love know just how much we love them?  Probably not often enough.  I’m only one person and I only can do what one person is capable of doing, but what I do know is that I can love a lot, often and forever.  When I have those moments when I’m thinking “ugh, why me?” or when I’m annoyed, all I do is think about all of the amazing people I have in my life.  My family – who I don’t see often enough, at all.  I miss them all day, every day.  My dearest friends, so many of them probably have no idea just how much I love them and how often I think of them and miss them.  I would absolutely be devastated if anything ever happened to any of them.  There are some that I don’t talk to for months, but there’s no excuse.  Yes we are all busy, but if there is one little thing I can do is to let these people in my life know that I love them so very much, that I think of them every day, that I am a better person because of them… yes, these are just words, but if there is ever a time that my words will hold any weight, it’s right now.  I LOVE YOU ALL & YOU ALL HAVE A PERMANENT HOME IN MY HEART.

change is good

to my 5 or so readers out there, i know i haven’t written in forever – but just wait, after the next few wks i will have plenty of time to write about life, my opinions on silly things and what’s going on in my little crazy world.  right now i just want to say how i can’t believe how quickly this summer has passed and that i’m very excited for some upcoming events/trips.  i’m celebrating a very close friend’s bachelorette-ness in vegas, having a girls’ wknd in napa, finally heading back to boston for said bachelorette’s wedding, a BFF’s birthday & i’m very excited to spend some time with the family.

i’ve been REALLY good not shopping lately – but i’m REALLY wanting to buy some new shoes… aahhh.
